Purpose & objective
The purpose of this session is to share how providing choice and flexible learning experiences empowers teachers and students to explore authentic alternatives to a face-to-face classroom.
In this session, participants will:
-Delve into the use of technology and student learning strategies in digital platforms, virtual environments
-Explore instructional design principles to create innovative digital learning environments that engage and support learning
-Examine personalized learning experiences that foster independent learning and accommodate learner differences and needs
-Take away resources that will support their own journey with online learning, virtual or blended.

-Discuss how our journey through virtual and blended learning has enhanced the authentic learning opportunities for our students.
-Share examples of how our teachers meet the instructional design principles for online learning.
-Provide resources to support participants' work with designing online spaces.
