Professional Learning Specialist
Jillian DuBois is a redesigned educator who has been in the elementary classroom for over 20 years. She is currently a Professional Learning Specialist with Forward Edge/Edge•U. Jill is passionate about infusing joy in educational leadership by focusing on service and using her voice to foster hope by celebrating diversity. She is a published author and illustrator of several children's books with social-emotional learning messages. She is also the Chief Optimistic Originator of Imparted Joy LLC, in Clearwater, Florida. In this role, Jill guides others to spark their stories with heart and confidence.

Jen is a wife and mother of two teens. She has been in education for over 20 years and has taught everything from PreK & Kindergarten through 6th Grade. Jen is now in her 3rd year as the Education Technology Integrationist at Swanton Elementary School. She has a BS in Early Childhood Education (UVM) and an MS in Special Education (dual certification in Elementary Education from Wheelock College) and was awarded the Project Ignite Award in 2014. She is an ISTE Certified Educator, a Google Certified Educator (1 & 2), a Wakelet Ambassador, a MergeEDU Ambassador, and a ClassDojo Mentor.

Yaritza Villalba leads professional learning opportunities, centered on culturally responsive sustaining education (CRSE) and equity to an international network of educators. With fourteen years of experience in urban education, Yaritza supplies many effective strategies and resources for educating and supporting BIPOC (Black, Indigenous. and people of color) students and families. Over her career, Yaritza became an Assistant Principal and an author of culturally relevant children's books creating opportunities and experiences for students of color to gain fair access to resources that spark critical thinking and meaningful conversations in and out of the classroom.

Purpose & objective

In today's rapidly evolving educational landscape, the role of technology in the classroom is more crucial than ever. However, finding the right support, resources, and connections within the EdTech community can be a daunting task. This innovative session proposal for ISTE aims to help educators and leaders discover their 'EdTech PLF'—the like-minded individuals, organizations, and resources that feel more like family and will empower them to thrive in the digital learning ecosystem.
