Purpose & objective
The purpose of the "Bricks and Science Adventures" project is to address challenges in science education, particularly in engaging students and making complex scientific concepts more accessible. This project leverages the use of LEGO bricks, technology, and innovative teaching methods to enhance science learning and foster a love for STEM subjects.
Educational Challenge/Situation:
Many students find science education challenging and abstract. Traditional teaching methods often fail to capture their interest and make science concepts relatable. Additionally, there may be limited access to hands-on learning resources in some educational settings.
The "Bricks and Science Adventures" project combines physical LEGO bricks and digital technology to create interactive and engaging science lessons.
Models Employed:
Constructivist Model: This project follows a constructivist approach, where students actively construct their knowledge through hands-on activities and exploration.
Blended Learning Model: It blends traditional classroom instruction with technology-based tools to create a well-rounded learning experience.
