Purpose & objective
At the conclusion of this professional development session, participants will have the capacity to effectively employ Google Sheets and Canva for personalized, tech-driven education. They will facilitate student agency, self-efficacy, and self-directed learning by guiding students in using templates within Google Sheets or Canva for self-reported grading. Educators and students alike will acquire essential digital literacy and data skills, enabling them to adapt to an evolving educational landscape. This session equips participants to align with current and emerging trends in learning while fostering student-driven assessment practices.
Participants will achieve success by effectively creating their own templates or utilizing provided templates, enabling them to empower students in the practice of self-reported grading, fostering greater student engagement, self-efficacy, and a data-driven approach to learning.
