By participating in this session, a participant will:
• Learn how to use Canva AI Tools and associated AI online tools to enhance their classroom and teaching resources
• They will be shown examples of what other teachers have created, using these same tools, for their subject areas or roles
• They will be shown examples of projects that students have created using the same tools for class assessment, including sharing of the rubric
• They will create at least one resource or sample project in the session using these tools for their subject area or roles
The session will be broken down as follows:
10 minutes – Introduction and getting started in Canva
30 minutes - live demonstration of Canva and AI Tools to create two resources that can be used in the classroom or as projects to be done by students. Teachers will follow along in their own Canva accounts to create the document.
• A clickable lesson plan (PDF) and desktop organisation image to help students or teachers keep track of their learning progress or administration
• A multimedia presentation (video) using the latest AI tools and Canva tools to present a topic
10 minutes – Sharing of teacher creations using a collaborative whiteboard for participants to display what they have created by sharing their view only Canva share links.
