Session description

Revolutionize math education with artificial intelligence and digital math tools! Explore how AI transforms teaching, automating tasks for time efficiency. Elevate student engagement through problem-solving, personalized feedback, and dynamic lesson creation. Unlock seamless integration of STEM and streamlined assessment methods. Join us to reimagine the future of math education!

Purpose & objective

Through the implementation of AI-powered math education tools, we will share technology integration and instructional strategies that can help educators improve student learning outcomes, empower teachers, and make math education more accessible and equitable. Providing students with immediate feedback on their work allows them to learn at their own pace and gives them access to various resources and support. Using AI in the math classroom allows teachers to personalize learning for their students, design engaging and effective lessons, and track student progress.

This presentation will introduce AI concepts to math educators and demonstrate how it can improve student learning outcomes. Participants will learn the basics of AI, explain its key features and benefits, identify ways to create personalized learning experiences, design authentic learning activities, create innovative digital learning environments, and demonstrate using AI to develop and deliver specific instructional activities or lesson plans. Participants will also learn how to support students of all levels and abilities.

The presentation will use a variety of models, including demonstration, hands-on activity, and case study. Participants can try AI and learn how to use it to create their learning activities. The presenters will also share how these strategies and applications have been used successfully in a real-world classroom.

To assess attendees' understanding of the content, the presenters will use a variety of methods, such as pre-and post-session surveys, interactive learning opportunities, and hands-on activities

By the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:
* Define artificial intelligence and explain its key features and benefits as applied to a math classroom.
* Identify ways to create personalized learning experiences, design authentic learning activities, and create innovative digital learning environments.
* Demonstrate how to create and deliver specific instructional activities or lesson plans.
* Describe how AI can support students of all levels and abilities, including those with special needs.
This presentation will provide educators with the knowledge and skills they need to improve classroom student learning outcomes.

Engagement Tactics
Throughout the presentation, we will use a variety of engagement tactics to keep the audience engaged and interested. These will include
Peer-to-peer interaction: We will encourage participants to share their experiences and ideas. For example, we might ask them to share a story about how they have used AI in their classrooms or to brainstorm ways to use AI to teach a specific math concept.
Device-based activities: We will allow participants to use their devices to interact with the presentation. For example, we might ask them to complete various sample math problems using the technology tools' key features or AI to create an activity or quiz on a math concept.
