Michelle is a Nationally STEM certified STEAM educator and curriculum coordinator at Hudson Montessori. She is passionate about providing students with hands-on interdisciplinary, and integrated STEM/ STEAM learning experiences. One of her works focuses on introducing young students to Computational thinking Strategies using unplugged activities. Her recent focus is teaching AI to elementary students. She also She completed the ISTE-GM Artificial Intelligence Explorations in K-12 School Environments program course.

Session description

This session is a deep dive into crucial needs for AI literacy in today's educational and digital landscape. Created by academic technology teachers to guide peers of all grade-levels, this session offers resources and strategies to integrate AI literacy across disciplines, ensuring students are future-ready.

Purpose & objective

The goal of this presentation is to give educators the resources they need to add AI Literacy instruction to their courses, or add new courses around new technology literacy skills. We also will provide suggestions for adding AI literacy to auxiliary constituencies from parents to administrators.
