Joining Microsoft in 2014 after dedicating 14 years in public K-12 education in the state of Texas as a classroom teacher and instructional technology leader, she has devoted her time to growing educator fans, building a robust learning community for educators, and leading trainers and consultants to scale the Microsoft in Education mission through teacher training and social evangelism grounded in community focus.

In today's educational landscape, educators often find themselves juggling numerous responsibilities, from classroom instruction to administrative tasks, all while striving to maintain a healthy work-life balance. In this session, we'll explore five innovative ways education professionals can harness the power of AI to enhance their wellbeing and job satisfaction.

Purpose & objective

Purpose: This session aims to provide concrete examples and practical insights into how AI can be leveraged to enhance and improve educational processes and outcomes so that educators can improve their wellbeing.

Objectives:
-Emphasize the importance of addressing educator wellbeing and the role it plays in educational success.

-Discuss potential challenges and ethical considerations associated with AI in education and provide strategies to navigate them responsibly, especially with regard to educator wellbeing'

-Increase awareness among educators and education professionals about the potential of AI to positively impact their lives and work.

Outline

First, the presenters will introduce themselves (5 minutes). Then, the presenters will describe how artificial intelligence can help educators save time and promote social-emotional wellbeing (10 minutes). For the next 30 minutes, the audience and the presenters will engage in an interactive presentation where they will learn how to incorporate 5 artificial intelligence techniques into their teaching/learning practice. The last 15 minutes of the presentation will be reserved for question and answer (Q&A).
