Robert is an experienced technology coach in education with a passion for helping educators integrate technology into their curriculum. A former NYC teacher with almost 30 years of experience in the field, Robert has worked with teachers and administrators to develop technology-rich learning environments that engage students and enhance learning outcomes.
Robert has a deep understanding of the challenges that educators face when trying to integrate technology into their teaching. Through one-on-one coaching, workshops, and professional development sessions, he provides personalized support to educators to help them develop the skills and confidence needed to effectively use technology in their classrooms.
Session description
Esports is one of the major trends in schools today. Esports engages students by meeting them in a medium they are comfortable with at home. There are many benefits for students such as the ability to learn and practice vital soft skills that will translate into future career skills.
Purpose & objective
Participants will learn about different genres of Esports and see examples of each. We will discuss the benefits of Esports for students as well as for schools and districts. In addition, we will review the many job opportunities after graduation.
