Session description

By combining traditional classroom instruction with online resources and activities, educators can create dynamic and engaging learning experiences. Join us for an interactive and informative session where we will delve into the world of blended learning and EduProtocols, offering practical insights, real-world examples and actionable strategies.

Purpose & objective

Participants in the session on blended learning will leave with the knowledge and skills to effectively implement blended learning in their classrooms. Here's a specific list of what participants will be able to do when they leave this session:

Design Blended Learning Experiences: Participants will be able to design blended learning lessons and units that combine online and in-person elements, taking into account the unique needs of their students and subject matter.

Enhance Student Engagement: Participants will have strategies to engage students actively and promote collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving in both online and traditional classroom settings.

Assess Student Learning: Educators will be able to design assessments that align with their blended learning objectives and effectively measure student progress. They will also learn to use data to make informed instructional decisions.

Leverage Technology: Educators will be able to integrate digital tools and resources effectively within EduProtocols to enhance the learning experience and support personalized learning.

Promote Digital Citizenship: They will understand the importance of teaching responsible and ethical technology use and be able to model and guide students in digital citizenship principles.

Collaborate and Share: Attendees will have the opportunity to network with peers, share their experiences, and collaborate on ideas for improving blended learning practices.

Navigate the Future of Learning: Educators will leave the session prepared to navigate the evolving landscape of education, including the continued integration of technology and blended learning models.

Content and activities: Participants will dive into a Blended Learning experiences that they can customize for their content area.
Time:
Introduction - 5 minutes
Immersed in Content & Making IT Matter - 45 minutes
Conclusion - 10 minutes
Process: Participants will be actively engaged in both online and offline tasks, learn more about Blended Learning and EduProtocols, and will create content to use in their classrooms.
