Participants will:
- Understand and appreciate the tough problems that exist in education while gathering strategies that they can take back to their schools
- Utilize language and thought leadership shared to inform the work in their schools
- Connect with participants to expand their network and thinking partners
- Recognize their own leadership opportunities and responsibilities in their individual communities
This session will be organized like a game show where contestants (presenters) are asked questions submitted by the audience. Based on their answers and audience response, contestants will receive points from the moderator. At the end, points will be tallied and a "winner" will be crowned. Each "round" will be timed so contestants will have to be concise and measured in their answers.
While the questions and topics will be generated by participants and collected in the moment, some potential topics include:
- ISTE Standards in practice
- Artificial Intelligence (AI bill of rights, academic integrity, policies and procedures, etc.)
- Equity of content, devices, and experiences for students
- Competencies and how we provide students opportunities to learn differently
- The shifting role of the librarian in schools
