Session description

Learn how to create a maker mindset in your classroom through engaging hands-on activities! Turn play and art into science education! This workshop is all about getting your hands dirty so be prepared to learn, play and make!

Purpose & objective

Educators will:
- Learn about free online Maker tools and materials
- Create a paper circuit
- Create a wearable circuit
- Create a solar bug / solar flashlight
- Create a Bristlebot
- Learn how to create large format buttons and switches out of cardboard
- Learn how to create a conductive tape Speaker
- Design their own circuit and then build it
