Purpose: The purpose of this hands-on session is to show educators how to create a instant feedback loops that can help educators, students and stakeholders self-reflect, engage in the conversation around what is needed for them to grow and be active in their own transformations. As stated before, this session will help educational leaders, coaches and teachers alike create instant feedback loops of actionable feedback. Oftentimes, data is collected, but not disseminated. When data is disseminated, it helps those on which the data has been collected to adjust to the benefit of the student or to the project. So, for leaders to create a shared vision and culture where technology actually supports and accelerates an educator's, student's, stakeholder's or campus's transformation to be more effective while coaching them is everything. And this session can help them get one step closer to doing so by ensuring feedback can be given instantly. Also, when people get instant feedback, it often helps them be more reflective on what just occurred (a class, an assignment, an observation, a meeting, etc.) and can led to them growing for the better. Instant feedback is a game-changer and this session teaches one way to use technology to provide that instant feedback.
Objectives:
1. Participants will evaluate the importance of instant, actionable feedback and feedback loops.
2. Participants will be able to use Google Forms, Google Docs and Slides, Google Sheets and Autocrat to create various feedback loops for students, educators and stakeholders.
