Session description
This session highlights strategies to embed SEL into the daily classroom routine. In this session, attendees will go through a variety of different activities for our students to challenge each other's thinking in a respectful way. These can be through brain breaks, exit tickets, or entire lessons depending on need.
Purpose & objective
Explore practical and implementable strategies to integrate SEL in daily classroom practices.
Showcase the potential positive outcomes of a well-implemented SEL curriculum, including improved student engagement, mental health, and academic performance.
Facilitate discussions and brainstorming sessions for educators to exchange ideas, challenges, and solutions related to SEL implementation.
Empower educators to tailor SEL strategies to the unique needs and demographics of their student populations.
Participants will engage in role-playing or simulation exercises to practice the application of SEL strategies in hypothetical classroom scenarios.
