I have been teaching for 16 years and believe in the power of hands-on, inquiry-based learning for all students.

I have been in education for over thirty years. I am currently the Director of Technology/Technology Instructor at a school for neurodiverse learners, where I have been for 25 years. I hope to provide tricks and tips to use in an early childhood classroom that will support not just neurodiverse students, but all students.

I am the founder of the Innovation Lab at Clear Sky Elementary and just completed my 28th year of teaching. I share a variety of digital tools and the principal of Design Thinking with all of our K-6 students. The curriculum in the lab is a combination of STEM and Makerspace, organized within the LAUNCH Cycle. Over the course of the school year, students work through a variety of design challenges: coding, robotics, building with cardboard, circuits, game design, and stop motion animation.
