Esports transcends mere screen time, offering districts and communities a multitude of benefits through well-structured programs. This talk delves into the holistic advantages, from game design, mental health support, and the inclusivity, that such programs offer. Attendees will explore how esports extends beyond competition, fostering pathways to higher education and careers, integrating STEM initiatives, and fostering community. Drawing from diverse district experiences, including the presenter's own, this session aims to inspire attendees with actionable ideas to enact in their own districts.
