With nearly two decades of experience in the field of education, I am thrilled to share my passion for teaching and learning with you! From the (unique) opportunity to work for the renowned Walt Disney Company to my beloved teaching position in Erie, Pennsylvania, I am here to share my innovative experiences and ideas with you!

Session description

Ignite your light and let it shine! Let's engage students through technology! Often times, students are reluctant to share ideas, communicate with teachers/peers and/or take part in classroom activities. Let's inspire our students to take part in their own learning by allowing them to create and communicate through innovative, tech-based resources. The resources included in this presentation allow educators to reach a diverse audience and engage students on all levels. Authentic differentiation allows for community and comfortability in the classroom, giving all students a voice and a platform for communication and learning. Let's work together to create classroom technology-based classroom experiences that nurture the joy of learning in our students. Examples will include the use of pictural models, illustration, movie-making, interviewing, video gaming, chat bots and more!
