Katie Breaud is a Learning Technology Integrator with Albemarle County Public Schools. With master's degrees in elementary and gifted education, Katie recently completed her endorsement in educational leadership. She is an ISTE Certified Educator and VSTE Certified Coach who loves finding ways to integrate technology into classroom instruction. Katie is an elementary teacher with over 24 years of teaching experience. She currently teaches in a STEM Lab serving over 600 students per week! Challenging students to confidently make mistakes while exploring new concepts has been the biggest, most worthwhile challenge she has ever had to overcome.

A veteran school teacher with over 40 years experience in bringing current technology to marginalized groups, I also served as a military veteran performing duties as a pilot in various aircraft.

Madeline Craig is an Associate Professor of Education and the Technology Integration Coordinator at Molloy University in New York. She holds an Ed.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an M.F.A. from Adelphi University. Madeline’s research interests include the use of instructional technology in higher education and K-12, project-based learning, improvement of students' writing skills, and online course design.

Dr. Michelle Eckler is the Supervisor of Technology for Teaching and Learning for the Waterbury Public Schools in Waterbury, Connecticut. In this role, Dr. Eckler helps teachers transition to a new model of instruction that encompasses a blended instructional model. Dr. Eckler is incredibly proud to have been named one of ISTE's 20 to Watch in 2023. Dr. Eckler is an ISTE Certified Educator, Google Certified Trainer, and an ISTE Community Leader. Dr. Eckler earned her Ed.D. in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, and Leadership from Northeastern University.

Jessie recently retired from Grand Forks Public Schools and is now consulting, coaching, and providing professional learning facilitation and training. Prior to retirement, Jessie served the students and teachers at Grand Forks School Districts as the District Assessment Coordinator and K12 Curriculum-Technology Integrationist. In total, serving over three decades as a K12 educator in varied roles within the Grand Forks Schools. Jessie is the President of the North Dakota Association of Technology Leaders (ISTE Affiliate) and an ISTE Community Leader. Jessie has been a Podcast guest speaker and has published articles and Blog Posts highlighting teaching and learning with technology.

Cathy Houchin has been teaching for over 42 years. As an elementary music teacher, Cathy loves infusing technology into her classes. She has presented at many conferences including ISTE, FETC, SLATE, TEAC,MACUL and WMEA. For many years, Cathy volunteered with ISTE'S Art and Technology PLN and served in many capacities including president. Currently, she is semi-retired and teaching part-time for the district's eCampus as a special coordinator.

My name is Calleigh Lee. I am currently 15 years old and attending Renton Prep Christian School. I was a part of ISTE 2023 not as a presenter but by having my work put up on display in their first museum. I was also a part of NCCE 2023 as a presenter presenting about AI and how it could be used in classrooms for teaching students. I'm always excited to be a part of these opportunities and experiences I most likely would have never even thought of being a part of.

Rita Mortenson is the Educational Technology Coach for Verona Area High School, in Verona, Wisconsin. She is an ISTE Certified Educator, Discovery Education Leadership Council Member, Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Innovator, and is a National Board Certified Teacher with an MBA Degree. She enjoys working and collaborating with staff and students to create opportunities for all.

Tim Needles is an artist, educator and author of STEAM Power. He’s a TEDx Talk speaker, technology integration specialist, and teaches art and emerging media at Smithtown Schools and Five Towns College. His work has been featured in the New York Times, NPR, Columbus Museum of Art, and the Norman Rockwell Museum. He’s the recipient of ISTE’s Technology in Action and Creativity Award, NAEA’s Eastern Region Art Educator Award & ArtEdTech Outstanding Teaching Award, and The Rauschenberg Power of Art Award. He’s also a board member of NYSCATE and NYSATA, a NASA Solar System Ambassador, an ISTE Community leader and NAEA ArtMediaTech chair.

Kali (she/her) leads a distributive approach to building AI literacy for students, educators, leaders, and families in Denver Public Schools while also working towards a PhD in STEM Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Denver, researching culturally and linguistically sustaining pathways for integrating AI into teaching and learning. Kali also spent a decade teaching Social Studies, Language Arts, and GT within and around Philadelphia and Southwest Denver. Kali is proud to live in colorful Colorado, where she is a hiker, cyclist, avid reader, vinyl collector, intersectional co-conspirator, devoted partner, dog owner, and - most importantly - mom of a toddler.

Marina is an accomplished educator with a diverse set of qualifications. Holding certifications in NYS Childhood Education, Students with Disabilities, and Literacy, she excels in meeting the diverse needs of learners. Marina's ISTE certification showcases her adeptness in utilizing technology for transformative learning experiences. Currently pursuing National Board Certification and a master's in educational leadership, Marina's commitment to excellence in teaching and leadership is unwavering. Her expertise extends to presenting at the NYSCATE conference since 2020, covering various educational topics. Marina's passion for education and her dedication to staying at the forefront of educational technology make her a valuable asset to the educational community.

Kathleen (she/hers) is a passionate educator with over 25 years of teaching experience. She has served in many different roles over the course of her career in education and taught in a variety of educational settings. She currently teaches K-5 Technology courses at Peak to Peak Charter School in Lafayette, Colorado. She is the recipient of multiple Innovation Grants to support her work in the creation and implementation of 3D print curriculum in her elementary Technology classroom. She has Master’s degrees in Educational Technology & Curriculum and Instruction along with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

Bill Selak (he/him) is Director of Technology at Hillbrook School, an independent JK-12 school recognized as an Apple Distinguished School. He teaches at Concordia University Irvine in the M.A. Educational Technology program, and is a NAMLE Board Member (National Association of Media Literacy Education). He’s a recipient of the Kay L. Bitter Vision Award and ISTE's Emerging Leader Award, and he's a Google Certified Innovator and Apple Distinguished Educator. He’s taught music, kindergarten, and second grade. Bill is obsessed with sharing his learning on his podcast Bill Selak Talks, where he shares about bringing methodical creativity into the student experience.

Rayna Srinivas is a 14-year-old 10th grader attending Renton Preparatory Christian School. At just 5 years old, she skipped kindergarten due to a sudden spike in adaptiveness and creativity in her learning path. She successfully completed an accelerated path in 7th grade and moved on to complete high school courses at age 12. Around this age, she began her public speaking journey with Dr. Michelle Zimmerman. Rayna has officially presented at 4 different national/global conferences. She hopes to use her power of speaking in the future as she strives towards her goal of becoming an environmental scientist.

Eric Tao is passionate education technology specialist. He is the Founder and CEO of MegaMinds, a virtual learning platform where students learn through creative play and interactive activities in 3D social online spaces. He comes from an extensive background of corporate and start-up roles and has spent over 20 years leading teams in digital interactive production. In 2015, he joined Google as a production lead on an innovation team experimenting with new technologies, like VR, and their potential applications in the field including in education.

Emily is a Technology Integrator and Trainer for Northeast Metro Intermediate School District 916, a former middle school German Teacher, and a Google Certified Trainer & Coach and ISTE Certified Educator. Throughout her time at 916, she has worked with staff and students to grow their instructional technology skills and meets everyone where they are at. Emily has presented at a variety of local, regional, national, and international conferences, both in-person and virtually. She uses her professional experiences, passion for technology, and drive to innovate student learning to inform and plan her training sessions.

Gayle Van Tol has written much of the curriculum for the middle school technology program at Peak to Peak Charter School which she helped begin in 2013. She has experience as an educator in several states, teaching HS Science and MS Technology. She earned a B.A. in Biology Education from Northwestern College (Iowa) and an M.A. in K-12 Natural Science Teaching from the University of Northern Colorado, and enjoys challenging herself with new technology applications and concepts. She teachers 5 different courses at Peak to Peak and loves passing technology skills on to her students as well as learning from them.

Alana Winnick is an award-winning leader who holds positions as the Educational Technology Director and Data Protection Officer for Pocantico Hills Central School District in Sleepy Hollow in New York, and the Hudson Valley Director for NYSCATE. She has established herself as a leading expert on AI in schools and is both the author and host of The Generative Age, a book and podcast that explores the rapidly evolving world of generative artificial intelligence and its impact on education.
