Outline
1. Approximately 30 minutes will be spent on engaging participants in learning about and understanding what constitutes as culturally responsive teaching as it pertains to a specific culture group of students, boy learners of color via critical reading and peer to peer discussion and interaction.
2. Approximately 30 minutes will be spent on engaging participants in learning about and understanding how to implement Socratic Seminars as a high leverage instructional strategy to engage and increase the academic achievement of boy learners of color through watching video, reading case study examples, simulation, and peer to peer discussion.
3. Approximately 30 minutes will be spent on engaging participants in learning about and understanding how to implement Reciprocal Teaching as a high leverage instructional strategy to engage and increase the academic achievement of boy learners of color through watching video, reading case study examples, simulation, and peer to peer discussion. .
