In this Forum we will actively explore powerful learning opportunities for Little Learners ages 3 to 8 years which are aligned to ISTE Standards and relationship-centered uses of technology. You will experience deeper exploration and discussion of the issues, challenges, opportunities, and successes related to young learners and technologies while working with others interested in young learners from around the world. Together we will have hands and minds on tools such as robotics, AI, Computational Thinking, and the new FREE ISTE publication: STEM in Early Education A Guide to Integrating Technology.

The Early Learning Playground is a fun, hands-on learning experience focused on exploring great tools, resources, projects, and learning ideas for students ages 3 to 8. Explore at your own pace, try tech tools new to you or in new ways, and explore with others interested in young learners.

Join early childhood educators as they share real classroom experiences, favorite strategies, and practical ideas that have helped literacy and STEM learning take root in children ages 3–8. From playful, yet meaningful, exploration and storytelling to hands-on problem solving and discovery, presenters will share engaging approaches that planted seeds of curiosity, creativity, communication, and confidence in their young learners. Participants will leave with fresh inspiration and adaptable ideas to help literacy and STEM skills grow and flourish in their own learning spaces.
