Head of the Humanities Department
Av. de las Torres

I am an experienced educator and instructional leader with over a decade in the field of education, having begun my career in June 2015. I am passionate about innovative learning approaches that foster student engagement, autonomy, and meaningful understanding. I currently serve as Head of the Humanities Department, where I lead curriculum development, support teacher growth, and promote high-quality, student-centered instruction. Before stepping into this role, I taught English and Psychology, experiences that helped me develop a strong interdisciplinary perspective that continues to shape my work. I also serve as a mentor with the Modern Classroom Project, where I support educators in implementing blended, self-paced, and mastery-based learning models. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, as well as two Master’s degrees: one in English Teaching and another in Learning, Cognition, and Educational Development. In addition, I have completed numerous professional development courses focused on education, technology integration, and effective teaching practices. As an ISTE Certified Educator and certified also as an instructional leader coach, I am deeply interested in the ways technology can enhance teaching and learning. I am particularly drawn to strategies that personalize instruction and empower both students and teachers. Outside of my professional work, I am a passionate baseball enthusiast, and I enjoy bringing the same energy, curiosity, and dedication to my love of the sport.
