Fearless leadership is about reimagining your school’s mission, vision, and core values with inclusivity and innovation. This session explores how leaders can use technology to gather diverse voices, foster collaboration, and craft a shared culture. Participants leave with practical strategies, tools, and examples to transform school identity.

Outline

0–5 min – Welcome & Introduction
Content: Overview of the session's objectives and the importance of inclusive leadership in shaping school culture.

Engagement: Quick poll: "Who contributes to your school’s mission and vision today?" to gauge audience involvement.

5–20 min – Understanding the Visioning, Mission, and Core Values Process
Content: Introduction to the Mansfield Public Schools Vision Working Group process, emphasizing the stages of collaborative visioning.
Engagement: Discussion on the significance of co-creating a shared vision, mission, and values and the role of technology in facilitating this process.

20–35 min – Stakeholder Engagement through Technology
Content: Demonstration of tech tools (e.g., Canva Whiteboards, Google Sites, Google Slides, Google Forms, AI-ChatGPT and Notebook LM) to gather input from diverse stakeholders.

35–45 min – Synthesizing Feedback and Co-Creation
Content: Strategies for analyzing stakeholder input and facilitating collaborative discussions to draft mission, vision, and core values statements.


45–50 min – Implementation Strategies and Next Steps
Content: Guidance on aligning the new mission, vision, and values with strategic goals and operational plans.

Engagement: Reflection: Participants outline actionable steps to implement the new statements in their schools.

Audience Interaction Tactics:

Device-Based Activities: Utilization of digital tools for real-time collaboration and feedback collection.
