Event Information
Provide a detailed outline of your presentation, including:
Welcome & Setup (5 minutes)
*Content: Briefly introduce the 5 C’s (critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, collaboration, citizenship) and explain the Jeopardy-inspired format.
*Engagement: Quick warm-up poll (“Which C do you lean on most in your classroom?”). Form small teams or table groups.
*Process: Facilitator sets the stage and explains how attendees will choose categories and numbers.
Interactive Jeopardy Gameplay (25 minutes)
*Content: Attendees take turns selecting a C (category) and a point value (number). Behind each choice is a tech tool, resource, or classroom lesson idea that aligns with that competency.
*Engagement: Presenters share the tool or resource, give a short demo/example, and then invite attendees to talk in their groups about how they might adapt it.
*Process:
Each round: 2–3 minutes for tool/resource demo + 1–2 minutes for peer-to-peer discussion.
*Teams rotate selection so all groups engage.
Presenters weave in stories of classroom impact to keep the energy authentic and relatable.
Reflection & Exit Ticket (10 minutes)
*Content: Educators individually reflect on the 5 C’s and the tools they explored.
*Engagement: Exit ticket prompts:
Which C will you focus on next week?
Which tool will you try first?
After this session, participants will be able to:
Identify digital tools, resources, and lesson ideas that support each of the 5 C’s.
1. Experience and reflect on a Jeopardy-style activity that models game-based professional learning.
2. Adapt the Jeopardy format to design engaging, collaborative learning experiences for their own students or professional development settings.
3. Create an actionable plan by choosing one “C” and one tool to implement immediately in their practice.
