Session description

River Sustainability + Partnering with India = Student Voice Amplified, + Student Passion for Change, + Student-led Action. We partnered with students in India to compare the Colorado & Yamuna River quality. Students discovered critical sustainability issues and gained passion and voice for change by hosting an international panel of experts on Earth Day.

Outcomes

Attendees will observe ways that adding global collaboration to a real world problem put student engagement 'through the roof' and helped students learn they they have power and voice.

Attendees will observe 1 form of year-long collaboration, and learn about digital and behavioral tools to foster their own global connection.

After this session, participants will have strategies for collaborating globally, and will be emboldened to try solving 'real' problems by collaborating with a global partner.
