Session description

Students want their work to matter, even in primary grades. Our expectations for older students are higher, so we are more willing to trust and share their efforts. See how you can give elementary students a chance to have their voice heard with writing projects that transcend the traditional formats.

Outline

1. introduction, experience, qualifications (2 min)
2. how is digital writing different from paper writing (5 min)
3. what can digital writing look like with learners who are just learning to read, let alone write and use a computer (10 min)
4. supporting the process of writing (3 min)
