Step into an inquiry based, AI powered social studies lesson where students explore real world issues through rich, multilingual texts and chatbot conversations with diverse perspectives. Outline

This session models an inquiry-based lesson where Magic School AI tools help create inclusive, engaging, and culturally relevant experiences. Attendees will experience how AI can generate content that reflects multiple cultural perspectives, provide translations for multilingual learners, and support differentiation for varied classroom contexts.

Welcome and Setting the Stage (5 min)
Set the stage: introduce the session, tools, and essential question guiding the model lesson.

Model Lesson (20 min)
Teach an inquiry-based lesson using Magic School AI tools:
1. Make It Relevant
2. Academic Content Generator
3. Character Chatbot
4. Step-by-Step or Idea Generator
5. AI Tutor/Study Bot

Debrief and Reflection (10 minutes)
Facilitate a quick think-pair-share and large group reflection on the model lesson: What worked? What surprised you? How did it support different learners?

Design Time (15 min)
Participants use a planning guide to begin designing a lesson segment using Magic School tools, solo or in small groups.

Share Out (5 min)
Volunteers briefly share their lesson idea.

Wrap up and Resources (5 min)
Provide a takeaway resource (e.g., AI tool planner, lesson design guide) and share additional supports or next steps.
