Session description

We have taken a new approach using technology that help increase student engagement in independent reading. Come to this poster session to find out how we integrate technology into both the Middle and High School ELA curriculum and school library programming.

Outline

I will have a running slide show with pictures of students and teachers engaged with the library reading programs, rewards & incentives, and further information. I will have either bookmarks or a one-pager with a QR code containing links and further information. I plan to break my running slideshow to demonstrate how to use Beanstack, create the word clouds, and how I made the Word of the Week puzzles. Since this is a poster session, I hope to engage participants in meaningful conversations as well.
