10 minutes – Background on Tampa Prep’s virtual filmmaking program and its evolution with the integration of AI
5 minutes – Description of Tampa Prep’s use of various technology to support hands-on learning
5 minutes – Discussion of how Tampa Prep’s virtual filmmaking curriculum
10 minutes – Sharing of student project examples
10 minutes – Discussion of specific outcomes related to the program and advice/action items for other schools, especially those who might have tighter budgets
15 minutes – Wrap up and Q & A
After this session, participants will know how to create a virtual filmmaking program in their high schools. Participants will have a clear understanding of the planning involved, ways to thoughtfully leverage technology and AI to support the student experience, and ways to engage students in hands-on experiences with virtual filmmaking even on tighter budgets.
