Since this is a poster session, the schedule could be changed based on participants questions.
I have done poster sessions on different facets of multilingual learners for the past 3 years at ISTE, they are always very well attended. This could easily be a lecture/interactive session - if preferred.
After this session, participants will be able to:
1. Learn about 3-5 web resources that support multilingual learners in understanding and/or accessing grade-level content.
2. Understand how to select appropriate tools based on students' language proficiency levels and learning needs.
3. Discover strategies for incorporating home languages as resources in instruction rather than barriers to overcome.
