Session description

This is an interactive VR project where students explore everyday phenomena, observing and experimenting with physics concepts like motion, force, and acceleration. It links theory to real-world applications, making learning engaging, visual, and meaningful while fostering curiosity, inquiry, and deep understanding.

Outline

1. Introduction (2 min):
- Context: Why use VR to learn physics?
- Objective: Connecting physical laws with real-world experiences.

2. Interactive Demo (5 min):
- VR simulations of motion, acceleration, and free fall.
- Students show how they collect and analyze data from the virtual experiments.

3. Reflection & Collaboration (3 min):
- Sharing insights: How does VR change our understanding of physics?
- Discuss inclusion, teamwork, and how each student contributes.

4. Impact & Outcomes (3 min):
- How this approach improves motivation, understanding, and engagement.
- Teacher and student reflections on learning through technology.

5. Quick Q&A (2 min):
- Participants interact with students and explore VR tools used.

Outcomes

By developing and presenting "Physics Beyond Reality", students will strengthen their understanding of key physics concepts such as motion, force, energy, and acceleration through immersive virtual simulations. They will apply scientific inquiry to analyze and solve real-world problems using data from these virtual environments, while developing technological and collaborative skills by working in teams to explore and explain natural phenomena. In addition, students will cultivate critical and creative thinking by designing virtual experiments that connect theory and practice, building confidence in STEM learning and fostering inclusion, equity, and curiosity in science education.
