Outline of Presentation: Teaching in Motion: Proximity + AI Feedback
1. Welcome & Setup (5 minutes)
Content: Introduce session goals and explain the model lesson format.
Engagement: Quick poll/check-in on current use of mobility tools and AI feedback.
Process: Device-based poll (Mentimeter, Poll Everywhere).
2. Immersive Lesson Part 1: Mobility in Action (10 minutes)
Content: Presenters model how wireless tools allow teachers to move freely, increase proximity, and boost engagement.
Engagement: Attendees act as “students,” responding to prompts as presenters move through the room.
Process: Real-time interactions; peer-to-peer quick shares.
3. Immersive Lesson Part 2: Writing + AI Feedback (15 minutes)
Content: Attendees complete a short writing activity, then receive instant AI feedback to experience the student perspective.
Engagement: Participants revise based on AI feedback.
Process: Individual device-based activity, then pair/share discussion of the feedback experience.
4. Pause & Reflect: Teacher Moves (10 minutes)
Content: Presenters pause the model lesson to explain strategies, classroom management tips, and leadership insights.
Engagement: Participants identify one challenge and one potential benefit in small groups.
Process: Peer-to-peer small group talk; responses shared on Padlet/whiteboard.
5. Application & Action Planning (15 minutes)
Content: Connect model lesson strategies to participants’ own contexts (different grade levels, subject areas, district sizes).
Engagement: Each participant drafts an “AI + Mobility Action Step” they could try in their setting.
Process: Individual planning, then peer feedback exchange.
6. Closing & Takeaways (5 minutes)
Content: Recap key lessons on mobility, proximity, and AI feedback. Link to ISTE Standards and transformational learning principles.
Engagement: Exit ticket: “What is one action you’ll take back?”
Process: Device-based poll or written note card collection.
After this session, participants will be able to…
Experience mobility and AI feedback from the student perspective and reflect on its impact on engagement and learning.
