Event Information
Part 1 -- 20 minutes
Introduce practical approaches that teachers can use to get to know their students better with examples and have participants choose one to practice with a partner
Part 2 -- 15 minutes
Introduce 3 practical strategies to make questions as important as answers in the classroom and have participants practice the "Quescussion" strategy with a partner
Part 3 -- 15 minutes
Use video and student and teacher quotes and project examples to demonstrate the level of engagement achieved when both of these are used in combination.
Part 4 -- 10 minutes
Ask participants to engage in a Give One Get One activity where they share what they are taking away from the session and one next step
