Event Information
Introduction (0–10 min): Open with the “frosting vs. filling” metaphor to highlight the problem with traditional PD and introduce micro-coaching.
Exploration (10–30 min): Define micro-coaching and share practical, ready-to-use strategies through interactive discussion and short demonstrations.
Application (30–50 min): Participants explore and adapt selected micro-strategies for their own contexts using digital tools and peer collaboration.
Reflection (50–60 min): Conclude with reflection, resource sharing, and next steps for evaluating and refining micro-coaching practices.
After this session, participants will be able to:
Identify and apply micro-coaching strategies that deliver meaningful, time-efficient professional learning moments.
Design quick, high-impact coaching interactions using technology tools to personalize teacher support.
Create a collection of adaptable “micro-moves” to evaluate, refine, and sustain a schoolwide vision for impactful instructional coaching.
