Session description

What if AI could bring true coherence to the classroom? When done right, AI becomes a strategic system that unites schools around consistent, high-quality learning. Join education leaders and practitioners to learn how AI-powered feedback loops can supercharge coherence, closing the gap between vision and practice.

Outline

Opening and Framing (5 minutes)
- Pose the question: what can happen in schools when curriculum, assessment, and instruction no longer exist in silos, but are connected by a shared thread?
- Share overall vision of coherence, steps to get there, and potential roadblocks
- Real life example in context of a fragmented system in a school

Fragmentation’s Challenges (10 minutes)
- Explain how silos cause blocks for teachers, students, and school leaders
- Fragmentation is inefficient, error prone, and mentally taxing
- Short reflection in small groups: what are examples of fragmentation causing tension in your work, whether in schools or otherwise?

The Case for Coherence through AI (10 minutes)
- Share solutions: AI connecting curriculum, assessment and instruction
- Present AI’s unique capabilities for infusing coherence in schools

Case Scenarios (15 minutes)
- Highlight 1-2 scenarios of AI and coherence in schools
Share perspectives: examples from teachers, leaders, and students

Looking Forward (10 minutes)
- Reinforce overall vision, reshare key messages, summarize actionable steps for all stakeholders
- Invite audience Q&A and reflection

Outcomes

After this session, participants will:
1. Hold a deeper understanding of how AI can link curriculum, assessment, and instruction into a unified system, rather than treating them as separate silos.
2. Recognize how AI enables teachers to adapt rigorous materials to diverse student needs without losing alignment with district or school-wide goals.
3. Understand how AI can establish continuous feedback loops that help leaders and teachers track what’s working, identify gaps, and ensure that classroom practice connects back to broader visions and objectives.
