Event Information
Welcome participants, connection to ISTE/ASCD standards, and the driving question: "How do we efficiently find the right pathway to support all learners?"
QR code to poll participants on their biggest MTSS challenge/formative data challenge.
Participants will receive a "case file" detailing a student with specific needs. They will work through a multi-tiered decision tree, or the board game, to arrive at a distinct, evidence-based solution.
Discuss that our challenges are often time, data overload, collaboration hurdles, etc. Discuss how AI addresses these obstacles.
The presentation will have interactive parts with the questionnaire and technology to problem-solve a scenario. The board will also be interactive with the game theme. This will allow me to take as much time as a participant needs to engage with me, but also allow new participants to be able to join the poster session and jump into learning.
After this session, participants will be able to:
-Map MTSS Pathways: Identify and articulate at least three distinct, evidence-based solution pathways within MTSS by completing the interactive, game-based scenario.
-Evaluate AI Potential: Articulate the pedagogical value and transformative potential of leveraging AI tools to enhance data-driven decision making and instructional efficiency in the classroom.
-Design Formative Assessments: Apply practical skills to design impactful, high-leverage formative assessment experiences supported by AI tools, ensuring alignment with learning objectives.
-Analyze Data: Interpret student learning data with AI to gain deeper insights into conceptual understanding and inform immediate, precise adjustments to instructional plans.
-Deliver Targeted Feedback: Implement strategies for delivering timely, specific, and actionable student feedback utilizing data insights provided by AI analysis.
