Session description
One of the quiet challenges leaders face is learning to lead adults through an andragogical (adult learner) lens rather than the more familiar pedagogical approach. Without it, building ownership and sustaining meaningful change becomes difficult. In this session, discover what happens when we intentionally shift our leadership practices to address adult learning needs. Adults need to see purpose, solve relevant problems, and engage in thinking that challenges them to take new actions. When that shift happens, ownership follows. This talk provides practical strategies to lead adults in ways that respect their experience, elevate expertise, and drive meaningful, lasting impact across teams and initiatives.
