I am currently in my second year as a digital learning specialist for Ector County ISD. This is my 26th year in education. I have taught Kindergarten, Middle School Social Studies and Robotics, and Elementary Gifted and Talented. I have a passion for technology integration in education, and my mission is to help any educator I work with integrate technology in their classroom.

Purpose & objective

Knowledge and Understanding: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the features, benefits, and applications of Microsoft Reading Progress.

Practical Implementation: Educators will be equipped with practical strategies for implementing Microsoft Reading Progress in their classrooms to enhance reading fluency.

Data-Driven Instruction: Participants will learn how to utilize data from Microsoft Reading Progress to tailor instruction, track progress, and provide targeted interventions for students.

Success Stories and Best Practices: We will share real-world success stories and best practices from our district, demonstrating how Microsoft Reading Progress has positively impacted students' literacy skills.

Introduction to Microsoft Reading Progress features and benefits. (5 minutes)
Interactive demonstrations of using the tool for reading assessments and personalized feedback. Participants will join our Team Classroom and be able to experience the classroom enviroment. (25-30 miuntes)
Sharing of success stories and best practices from our district. (10 minutes)
Collaborative discussions on tailoring instruction and interventions based on data from the tool. (15 minutes)
Q&A sessions to address specific participant queries and concerns. (5 minutes)
