Session description

Showing how multiple choice can move into gamified scenario-based contexts to provide learners with realistic experiences, allowing them to demonstrate noncognitive skills, including negotiation, collaboration, and resilience. We'll showcase a negotiation task, illustrating how these tasks can provide cheaper, more viable innovation and bridge traditional, validated assessment and VR.

Purpose & objective

Participants will gain a high-level overview of how to begin placing multiple choice activities within larger context-driven scenarios in order to guide learners through interconnected interactions to develop and assess noncognitive skills in a guided, safe environment. An overview of possible tools that can be used, ranging from simple applications like Storyline to more advanced options that include VR/AI.
