Session description

Discover the future of interactive learning by diving into the world of AI-enhanced gaming and learn how it revolutionizes engagement. Explore innovative techniques to create dynamic prompts and captivate learners, while ultimately making your job easier! Unleash the potential of AI for an interactive educational experience like never before.

Purpose & objective

Overview:
In this session, participants will gain knowledge and skills needed to harness the power of AI in transforming educational experiences through gamification. Our objectives focus on addressing common educational challenges related to engagement and inclusivity, with a technology intervention utilizing AI-generated prompts.

Educational Challenge:
Traditional teaching methods often struggle to engage students effectively, especially those with diverse learning needs. Additionally, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility in the learning process can be challenging.

Technology Intervention:
We introduce participants to AI-powered prompt generation tools, such as Chat GPT and Google Bard, capable of adapting prompts to individual student abilities and preferences. These tools offer a dynamic, inclusive, and responsive approach to gamified learning. We will input the data generated from the AI language models into popular EdTech games like Booklet, Kahoot, and Quizizz.

Models Employed:

Adaptive Learning: We utilize an adaptive learning model that tailors prompts based on student performance and learning patterns.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL): Our approach aligns with UDL principles to create a flexible and inclusive learning environment.

Objectives (Participant Outcomes):
Understanding AI in Education: Participants will grasp the concept of AI-driven gamification and its potential to revolutionize education.

Creating Inclusive Learning Experiences: Participants will learn strategies to promote inclusivity and accessibility through AI-generated prompts.

Using AI-Powered Prompt Tools: Participants will gain hands-on experience with Chat GPT and Google BArd, understanding how to customize prompts for diverse student needs.

Enhancing Engagement: Participants will explore innovative techniques to increase student engagement through dynamic AI-generated prompts.

Assessment and Adaptation: Participants will discover how AI can aid in assessing student progress and adapting prompts accordingly.

By the end of this presentation, participants will be empowered to use AI-powered prompt generation to enhance engagement, inclusivity, and overall learning outcomes in their educational settings.
