Session description

This session will share how DeKalb County School District establishes and maintains Digital Learning Teams. Participants will learn about DCSD’s IT department and its pursuit to ensure all teachers are supported to utilize and integrate technology and why it is important to leverage teachers to build capacity throughout the district.

Purpose & objective

The purpose of this presentation is to provide insight into how the DeKalb County School District establishes and sustains Digital Learning Teams, with a specific focus on the role of the IT department in supporting teachers to effectively utilize and integrate technology. Participants will gain an understanding of the district's commitment to ensuring all teachers are equipped with the necessary tools and support to harness technology's potential for enhanced learning outcomes. Additionally, we will explore the significance of leveraging teachers to build capacity throughout the district and the broader implications for advancing education in our community.
