Dr. Jennifer Elemen is an award-winning education leader, writer and speaker who designs and facilitates professional learning, creating transformational change for equity, justice and joy. She is currently president of the California Council for the Social Studies, leads digitally mediated learning for the 21st Century California School Leadership Academy (21CSLA) State Center at UC Berkeley, is on the Center for Leadership, Equity and Research (CLEAR) AI Initiative Steering Committee, and is a BeGLAD certified agency trainer. She has served in roles from teacher to director, for grades P-12 and higher education at the classroom, school, district, county and state levels.
