Ashara Shepard-Lance, Ed.S., is an Educational Improvement Consultant with Wayne RESA. Prior to WRESA, she was a central office administrator, instructional specialist, and teacher with Detroit Public Schools. She holds an MA in Curriculum and Instruction, an M.Ed in Education Administration, and an Education Specialist in Instructional Technology. She is also a Master trainer for Adverse Childhood Experiences through the Michigan ACE Initiative.Her passion is to promote digital equity and literacy in underserved communities. Supporting the whole child and social-emotional learning is also an area of focus and interest for Ashara.
