Based in Casa Grande, AZ, Denice spent over 20 years teaching in Japan, Michigan, and Arizona teaching and transitioning to counseling. With two master’s degrees from NAU—an M.A. in Rhetoric, Writing, and Digital Media Studies & an M.Ed. in School Counseling—plus an L.A.C. license, she now focuses on supporting students’ academic and emotional well-being. A lifelong learner and creative spirit, Denice enjoys digital and tabletop gaming, art and design, rescuing animals, and traveling. She finds deep joy in connection—through counseling, sharing stories, and spending time with her partner Nevin, friends, family, and cherished feline companions.
