Supporting research

Along with my colleagues Jay McTighe and Kristina Doubet, I wrote a book for ascd titled "Designing Authentic Performance Tasks and Projects: Tools for Meaningful Learning and Assessment". Many of the ideas shared in this session come from this book. In addition, I will draw on work from other assessment experts including: Sue Brookhart, Thomas Guskey, and Rick Stiggins, among others. Here are some articles written by these assessment experts:

Thomas Guskey: https://ascd.org/el/articles/giving-retakes-their-best-chance-to-improve-learning
