Session description

Use our Digital Time Travel Choice Board to transform social studies class! Students select from nine engaging activities using free tools like virtual field trips, immersive simulations, and creative projects. This flexible approach builds critical thinking while bringing historical events to life in meaningful ways.

5 minutes - Welcome and poll
5 minutes - Benefits of immersive learning and simulations
5 minutes - Tool 1 - Demo
5 minutes - Tool 2 - Demo
10 minutes - Participant time to try the first two tools with opportunities to ask question
5 minutes - Tool 3 - Demo
5 minutes - Tool 4 - Demo
10 minutes - Participant time to explore tools 3 and 4 and plan ways to use the tools in their lessons
5+ minutes - If time permits (if not, additional sites will be provided on the resource page), Quick intro to several other tool options to try after the session (additional 4-5 tools shared through slide deck rather than the demo).
5 minutes - Q/A and closing
