Session description

This session will showcase a variety of effective and proven AI use cases in educational settings, categorized into seven areas: brainstorming, reducing administrative tasks, content creation, differentiation, review and analysis, comparison, and external data manipulation. Participants will engage with interactive examples from each category across diverse educational subject areas

Outline

The presentation will begin with participants taking a brief, humorous poll about their experience and initial reactions to AI.

Participants will then join a web-based workshop section where they will explore seven AI use cases based on their chosen subject area (e.g., English, math, science, world studies). The facilitator will guide them through these steps, and they will be able to continue their journey in the workshop after the session concludes.

Participants will share their reactions and have the opportunity to ask questions after each of the seven use cases.

They will also learn how to construct a custom chatbot to use in their classrooms for more targeted activities.

We will conclude with a gallery walk of ideas and/or future uses.
