Session description

Greenville County Schools has been implementing a transformation model for nearly ten years that has shown proven results in test scores, closing equity gaps, and increasing student outcomes. This will highlight the process used for transformation and focus on how district/school leaders can modify it for their own use.

1. Discussion of School Transformation currently (Group Discussion)
2. Overview of the GCS Focus School Process (Transformation Model)
3. Deep Dive into Instructional Rounds and Learning Walks and how they inform school trasnformation and instructional improvements
4. Overview of what the model looks like throughout an entire school year
5. Overview of the data from the focus schools and how it has produced increased student outcomes on standardized tests
