Session description

Everyone has a title they work under. However, your title does not define who you are as a professional nor does it define your worth and impact. Every single one of us can lead beyond our title and make an impact on those who we work with and lead.

Outline

+ Content and engagement for session: The first 10 minutes of the session will be a get to know you. I will have participants give their role (teacher, campus admin, district admin, other) as well as their experience with leadership in their role. Beginning: Table talk, second option: share out, and lastly we will come up with words/phrases on paper or online to identify who's in the room and what they will get out of the session.

+ 20min: The second and third parts of the session will define a leader as well as the worth of the leader and how everyone can make an impact on campuses. We will explore ways to support every role in leadership as well as using voice and feedback to support growth and ownership. This will look like peer-to-peer interaction as well as collaboration.

+ 15-20min: So what now? How to define lead beyond your role as well as what can everyone do to support leadership beyond their title. Participants will be sharing out and a collective padlet will be shared to capture ideas.

+ Last 5-10min: Wrap up-where do I go from here? Ways to foster voice and leadership from anyone and beyond your title.
