See AI like never before! This session unveils groundbreaking applications that push the limits of current technology. You’ll be inspired to think creatively about how AI can redefine your approach to teaching and learning, exploring innovative possibilities beyond what you thought possible.

Outline

Introduction (5 minutes):
Overview of AI trends and session objectives.

Mind-Blowing AI Applications (30 minutes):
Showcase unexpected AI tools, including live demonstrations. We are going to focus on real-time demos as much as possible so people can see these experiences in action. We will key in on practical things that will be helpful to educators, but also things that are truly on the cutting edge. These may not be practical, but they will highlight what educators should know so they will be ready when these applications become more mainstream and widely available.

Discussion: Impact on Education (10 minutes):
Explore how these tools can redefine teaching and learning, focusing on practical applications.

Pitfalls and Ethical Considerations (5 minutes):
Discuss common misconceptions and why AI tools fail in certain situations.

Q&A and Brainstorming (10 minutes):
Interactive Q&A session followed by collaborative brainstorming on new AI uses.

This presentation will largely be based upon my own research. Much of the demonstrations will come from outside the education space, via developers forums, subReddits, and social spaces dedicated to exploring cutting edge uses of AI.
