Outline

5 minutes-Introduction of who I am and what inspired me to create this activity

5 minutes - I will engage the audience by showing participants an example of a student created artifact to show them how this technology can be leveraged.

5 minutes to explain the entire unit plan and purpose as to why I created this activity to elevate the understanding of both Shakespeare and the integration of AI literacy and generative AI into my English literature course.

Supporting research

Michael Hernandez' book Storytelling with a Purpose inspired me to create this project. I like his position behind creating "uncheatable" assessments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVxDXVniPZs

Ethan Mollick has inspired me for years - well before ChatGPT became so popular. His forethought and skills students need to learn to be employable in the Fourth Industrial Revolution is a strong reason as to how this project is relevant to educators. https://issuu.com/karenratkeqs/docs/ebook_co-intelligence_living_and_working_with_ai

Seymour Papert - New Theories for New Learnings inspiration and constructivist theory is the foundation for the integration of learning AI in my ELA classes.
